My wife and I drove from north Georgia to Ocala, Fla to visit friends. The trip there was uneventful but after arriving our 2009 Jeep Patriot would not start. Our friends recommended Autotech II as they use them. We had the car towed to the shop and they worked on it until we had to rent a car to return home. Rob took it as a personal challenge and was busting his tail trying to get our car back on the road. By the time they had it running they had found a major wiring harness where the insulation had disintegrated resulting in numerous bare wires, several shorted out sensors and a broken throttle body unit. Any of these would have kept the car from starting and finding so many really complicated the trouble shooting process. But the main reason I'm writing this review is that they stuck with it until they got it fixed! There is no way the final bill they gave me accounted for all the time spent on this car (not to mention the frustration they went through). These people are golden. We are so blessed that our friends referred us to such a good, honest and hard working group of people to trust our vehicle with. I had begun to think I would never see our car back on the road when I got the call that it was ready. I simply cannot express our gratitude enough and want to spread word that this shop is to be trusted. Ocala, Florida is lucky to have this sort of shop in their midst! I especially want to thank Rob, Jim, Mike and Lisa for all the work done and keeping us informed about problems encountered and progress made. Thank you Autotech II for your work, care and consideration!

Very friendly and knowledgeable about the issue with my car. I'm looking forward to the work they will be doing. Update My car is fixed and I owe it all to a master mechanic by the name of Rob. I think the issue gave him a few gray hairs, but I sure do appreciate all the work that he put into fixing the car. Everyone was so friendly, you really felt like you were walking into your mother's house. I was always greeted with a friendly smile and they kept me up to date on the progress and issues they were having. I personally believe that they are the best mechanics in Ocala. Auto tech 2 is awesome. I had my dodge taken to Phillips Chrysler dodge in Ocala. My truck was there for a month and a half. They told me my truck could not be fixed. This was my first time here, and I was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews--people either loved the place or hated it. But my dealership could not determine what was wrong with my Sonic. In fact, they told me to bring the car back in when the "Check Engine" light came on, and then they would know where to start. Auto Tech II assured me they would find the problem, and they did! The motor mount on the passenger side was compromised. They got the part (ha ha, from my dealership) and replaced it the next morning. After over 4 months of vibrations, noises and a front end that sounded and felt like marbles, my car runs smooth and quiet again. Auto Tech II will be my GO TO place for auto service from now on.

Auto tech is where we take our cars that are not on warranty. We've been doing business with them for eight or nine years and have always been happy with their work and their honesty. They've done all kinds of work for us from tire repair to replacing wheel bearings on a boat trailer to repairing the supercharger on one of our cars. Good people and good work.

Had to get service work on car.Told to try them out. The service from the moment I arrived was top notch. They explained what would have to be done and around the price. Now you would think it was a big corporate place. But it is not. It's a family owned shop. Told them I would have to wait for service to be done. They said no problem. But if I would like they would give me a ride home. Then pick me up when the service was completed. So would recomend if you need service on your vehicle's this is the place to go. Felt that they were up front and honest with their work.

My wife and I were stranded when our car broke down on vacation. After talking to a few repair shops and be told it was too late in the day I called autotech. They where very nice and willing to help even though they were about to close. We had our car towed to their shop they went out of their way to help us. The next morning they had one of there tech go pick up the part we needed and made sure we had transportation. The car was finish by noon the next day. We were a few hours away for work when They called and told me it was ready. I was able to pay over phone. They went out of their way to help us and since I wasn't able to pick up the car immediately they even pulled the car around back and left the keys where I can get them. Really made me feel like they cared about us and the car being sure that it wasn't messed with it until we could pick it up.

I had a great experience with the guys at Auto Tech 2. They helped me install some wheels and tires that everyone else said wouldn't fit on my truck! 20x10's wrapped in 33x12.5 Mud tires on my 2014 Silverado. They did a great job creating more room in the wheel well with some creative adjustment of my fenders. You can't even tell that some trimming was done because of how good of a job they did! The truck drives like a dream and there is 0 rubbing even at full turn! Quality > low cost any day.
